About the role

This position is for an Administrator/Receptionist providing support to the Student Records and Registry teams within Education Services in their day-to-day operational activities; provide professional hospitality services to building staff, students and visitors; and to support the efficient operation of building facilities. The student records and registry management teams manage a range of activities from student registration to graduation, including student registration, grade entry, student progress tracking, processing changes to enrollment applications, handling student academic misconduct, complaints and appeals, and responding to requests for letters. , certificates and transcripts. These teams are responsible for ensuring that the management of students is carried out in accordance with the Rules of the Senate. Daily work consists of working with the database of student records (SITS).

You will be responsible for working with Education Services staff to provide a range of services, advice and guidance to ensure student-related processes are managed effectively and efficiently.

The role is essential in ensuring that the administrative services student experience is efficient, consistent and of high quality.

About you

You will be trained to GCSE level (or equivalent) with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and typical office equipment, able to work methodically, under pressure and with a high degree of accuracy. You will have good communication skills and experience providing high level customer service, be able to balance competing priorities and have good attention to detail. Additionally, you will be flexible in your approach, able to build relationships and work on your own initiative.

Previous experience working with computerized record systems and preferably SITS (Tribal Student Records System), and understanding of higher education administration is desirable.
