TIEZA partners with MyEG Philippines on online travel tax

As travel restrictions ease and borders have started to open, more and more citizens are now traveling outside the country. Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (Tieza) will implement the Online Travel Tax Services System (OTTSS), an online payment portal designed to provide a more convenient, faster and easier way to pay travel taxes. travel.

This is in partnership with MyEG Philippines, Inc. (MYEG PH), the market leader in e-solutions, champion of online government service automation in the Philippines and Malaysia and a leading e-payment processing provider .

MyEG will activate its 90,000 payment channels to the Tieza OTTSS. The MoU was signed by Tieza Managing Director Mark Lapid and MyEG Philippines Managing Director Ann Margaret Saldaña on June 8, 2022, at Midas Tent, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.

Through this partnership with MyEG Philippines, citizens will have multiple options to pay travel tax online anytime while staying safe from the comfort of their own home using their e-wallets (GCash, Maya, ShopeePay and GrabPay), credit/debit cards, Online Bank Transfer from various banks such as BPI, BDO, UnionBank, RCBC and Maybank, while also making cash payment options available from 7-Eleven, Robinsons Department Store, SM Department Store, SM Supermarket, Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan Pawnshop, USSC, RD Pawnshop, Posible, DA5 and many more.
